Today was Scotty's first official soccer game. For the first 10 minutes, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with soccer. He sat with me and told me he was not playing.... and boy did he mean it. Thankfully, his coach is very patient and understanding. Then, his daddy was able to make a surprise visit to his game. When he talked to Scot and mentioned there would be no video game playing later if he didn't play soccer, then Scot stood up and said, "I'll play goalie". So, he went right in and played for the rest of the game. He was smiling and having fun out there too. It's funny to think what a little enticing will do (especially if it means playing video games). =) Scot was a great goalie and it was fun to watch his team "The Tigers" play. Now that we're home- any guesses as to what Scot is doing? =)
Wasn't it entertaining? You got some great shots. Landen was basically chewing on his shirt the entire game. :) It's going to be a fun season! (and if video game bribing doesn't work.... there is always candy.) :)
