My dad is turning the big 60 in a couple weeks and my sister and I have been scheming behind his back (and my moms).... we were very sneaky. We decided to hold the party a few weeks before the big day to totally throw him off and I'm happy to say- we were successful. Thanks to my parents wonderful friends- The Harris' they opened their home up to us. Jody and I served my parents and a few of their closest friends a nice dinner which included a cobb salad, and clam chowder in bread bowls. To make it a true "Stout event"- we served ice cream sundaes with "Gary's Goo". I'm so glad we had the opportunity to express to my dad how much we love him. Thanks for being a wonderful dad. I love you and Happy (Early) Birthday! =)
