This year I found a cool coloring kit that had 12 (yes, 12) different colors, stamps, paint, glitter, stickers.... it was sweet! 
All ready for the mess to begin.
This year I found a cool coloring kit that had 12 (yes, 12) different colors, stamps, paint, glitter, stickers.... it was sweet! All ready for the mess to begin. 
The kids were very excited for this event..... especially Macie (since she asks once a month if we can dye eggs).
Here was Macies painted egg (along with my painted fingers) :) I actually liked the painted eggs more than the dyed.
The kids were very patient holding the eggs in the dye.
Elliot was feeling very creative and attempted a patriotic egg. 
Here are some pictures of the finished product... now if we only ate more egg salad sandwiches so the fridge wouldn't smell like stinky eggs. :)

I think that is why we have never painted or dyed eggs with the kids, haha. I am the only one who eats them and I hate wasting eggs. Bad mommy I know and I will give them all issues then they get older
