Summer time fun....

Yes, we are still alive!  I just took a short break from the blog world.  Not for any special reason.  Just got in a funk I guess.  But I'm back and ready to document the Davis family happenings.  Summer started and we are enjoying the break of school.  Although- I think I'm looking forward to when the kids are back in a routine and  not wanting to know what we are doing everyday.  Anyways- we have been doing lots of fun day trips and stuff this summer.  We made it to the train museum.  We asked Scot what was the one thing he wanted to do this summer and he said- The Train Museum.  So, that's what we did. 

 We also did something none of us have ever done before.  We decided to take the nice man on the back of the horse up on his offer and ride around old town.  It was so great.  The look on the kids faces were the best.  It was truly awesome and something I wish we had done before.  Who knew being pulled around by a horse next to lots of cars going by would be so fun! 

 and we also went into some fun stores in old town.  The kids were exposed to some interesting "culture" I guess you could say.  It was a fun day but I have to admit- I was glad to get back to "my part of the woods  where I feel safe and secure :)  We did return home after we made a trip to the extremely large and kinda freaky candy store.
