The Davis Family...

While the kids were out of school and Elliot was off work- we joined my sister and her family and headed to Cambria (on the coast). My brother in laws parents live there in the neatest house and we were able to stay there and enjoy the fun. We played at the beach and enjoyed watching the Elephant Seals which had found there way onto the beach. Ellie wasnt quite sure about them and kept saying, "I think we need to find another beach". Scot loved playing in the cold water and looking for shells. Macie thought the sand was pretty fun to play with too! The kids were able to spend lots of time with their cousins Haley, Ashley and Eva. They played downstairs in the play room, outside on the swing and sand box... and of course- the very cool tree house which was recently built by Deroy. We were able to relax a lot, shop around town, visit Morrow Bay and have great food on the wharf. The grown ups also played a fun card game (Spades) until the early morning which was tons of fun.


On our way there, we stopped in Pismo Beach and were able to visit with Elliots sister Ellen. We let the kids play at their favorite park which overlooks the beach. Also, a baby seal had wandered up the canyon, so we were able to get a close view of it (it was brand new and still had its umbilical cord). We also went to Longboards with Ellen and enjoyed some yummy fish and chips! It was a great 4 days and we already wish we could go back.... but I guess we had to face reality sometime! =)
