today...

This morning as I was taking kids to school, I went to drive my car out of the garage when I heard a little noise but I continued on. As I looked out my rear view mirror I realized that my brand new bike (for Mothers day) was wedged in between the garage wall and my wheel-well. I backed up, removed the majorly damaged bike and wanted to cry .......=)
but I had a car full of kids waiting for me to get going so I hopped in the car and attempted to leave.... now the garage door would not close. I tried everything I knew how to do to get the thing down- but it was not working and we were going to be late for school. So, I left it open and headed off to school. (again- wanting to cry). So, I called my dad who was home- and he came to my rescue and fixed the garage door. (thanks dad)

Then, my fabulous husband called me and said that our renter (in our other house) called to inform us that there is a skunk under the house. The skunk sprayed her dogs and for some lovely reason- she let them in the house. So, now we have a wonderful fragrance in the house and a skunk to catch. lucky us! =)

All of this happened this morning between 7:45am and 8:30am. It was one of those times when I thought- okay, whats gonna happen next. Needless to say, I've had better mornings but apparently I'm supposed to learn something from this. I'll let you know what it is when I figure it out! =)

  2. You will definitely look back and laugh... I want to cry for you about the bike!! I just hate it when something brand new gets destroyed so early. But then to have the garage door not working, yikes. At least the skunk is not at your own house :)!!!!
