It's hard to believe that our Ellie today joined the world of 3rd grade. She woke up grinning from ear to ear, got ready promptly and ate all her breakfast (if only that could happen every morning). For the last few weeks she has really been excited to return back to school and FINALLY- it came. She joined with her friend Sean as they disappeared into their 3rd grade classroom at 8am this morning. When I picked them up this afternoon, Ellie was still happy. She loved it! She loves her new teacher and is happy that they wont have homework for a couple weeks =) We're so proud of Ellie. She is growing literally before our eyes. Way to go our big 3rd grader!
